Expectations for Outside Reading (HTRLLaP)

Task Summary: Students will be assigned one book for the year. That book is How To Read Literature Like a Professor. Students will be tasked with reading a chapter for every week we are in school. There are 27 chapters, so planning time wisely will be essential to student success or failure in this class. Each chapter in the book will be tied to our themes for the week, which can be found on our weekly outlines. The themes for the week will set the tone for multiple applicable assessments. Specifically, our Level III LOQ Discussion Topic. Students will be assessed in various ways. Each chapter should be read by Sunday night leading into the week –  ask for clarification.  You will need to purchase a hard copy version via Amazon, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, etc.
